New Normal Updates Alcohol Sales Changes – June 29, 2020
While all the rage over the last few days was the Florida bar sales ban, along with the 4th of July beach closings – Miami-Dade County quietly issued a new Emergency Order going into effect 11:59 p.m. on June 29th, 2020. No establishment – bar, restaurant, lounge, tavern, gastrowhatever you want to call it – can sell alcohol for on-site consumption between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The order also bans lap dances as entertainment must be at least 10 feet away from all patrons. This order also formalizes the new forms required for reopening due to a Code violation closure, known as Exhibit B, also can be downloaded here.
