Changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes. This will be one post for this week’s updates, as keeping up with Miami-Dade’s daily business regulations has turned into an Abbott and Costello “Who’s on First” comedy routine. As of July 7th, Miami-Dade County has restricted all on-site indoor dining, starting maybe Wednesday maybe Thursday no one knows yet. Outdoor dining has been spared for now, with current restrictions plus the bonus new not new rule of no more than four patrons per table. Gyms were going to be closed, but also saved at the last minute, they can remain open as long as everyone is on their best mask behavior. 10:00 p.m. curfew is still in effect. Broward County may follow Miami’s lead as soon as Miami figures out what that actually is. No official order has been signed yet, because in 2020 we make mandates via twitter first. This post will be updated and updated and probably updated again, each time followed by a face palm and glass of in home consumption of wine.
