Miami-Dade County Government just announced the new guidelines for opening #Monday, and it is going to be a long weekend of restaurant preparations to comply with the new customer, employee, and sanitation guidelines. Restaurants can open at a 50% capacity indoors, with additional outdoor seating, total not to exceed the total number of seating for the establishment. Seating must comply with ADA requirements, and maintain six feet #socialdistance guidelines. No bar seating is allowed. Other fun highlights include hand sanitizer dispensers at entrances, disposable or online menus only, no buffets or self service areas including drink machines, distinct customer waiting areas with social distancing guidelines, limit of 4 patrons per table, only single serve condiments…. along with a multitude of employee/sanitation guidelines. #Bars and #Nightclubs are not included in this Phase of opening. Restaurant guidelines pictured below, directly from the “New Normal” guidelines released today by Mayor Carlos A. GimenezCDC and Florida Health Guidelines are a separate guide. Municipalities can choose to further restrict these guidelines.
